Firefox, Chrome, Safari have finally killed Internet Explorer

I have been wanting to write this article for a while. Years, in fact. I am determined to write it in the simplest possible format: no punch-line at the bottom, no building up to a grand conclusion, but simply stating something impressive, true, and simply wonderful: the hegemony that Internet Explorer once upon a time had is… over. Right now, other browsers are fighting amongst each other, and it’s all about how much of IE’s share they are getting. The war is over: Internet Explorer lost. Everybody else won.
Firefox Goes Mobile
There's no doubt that it's getting easier to access the Web on a mobile device. Thanks to the iPhone and Apple's Web browser, Safari, millions of people feel as though they finally have the Internet in their pocket. But there's still a lot of work that needs to be done in order to allow for the kind of innovation on the mobile Web that is possible on the traditional Web, says Mitchell Baker, chairman of Mozilla, maker of the Firefox browser.
Opera 9.5 browser bursts onto the stage
Beating Firefox 3.0 to the opening night accolades is Opera 9.5, the latest version of the free browser from the Norwegian browser company, available for Windows, Macs and Linux PCs. Time for a standing ovation?
